Lend a hand for the Starlight Children's Foundation - Sat Sept 25th
Come out and join us on Saturday September 25th from 10am to 2pm as we volunteer at the Starlight Childrens Foundation Walk for Smiles at Pacific Spirit Park. Volunteers are needed to give a few hours to brighten the lives of children and their families. The annual event is a 10km run or 5km walk around the trails and we have been asked to stand on the trail and cheer people along! This is the second year we have been to this event and I can truly tell you it is so much fun and being around such loving children will make your heart sing.
After the walk we will get to hang with the children, enjoy a lunch provided by Dairy Queen and help sell 50/50 tickets and with the clean up.
Where to meet: Pacific Spirit Park, located at the eastern edge of the UBC Endowment Lands. Approx 500 metres west of Blanca at 4915 West 16th Avenue
When: Saturday September 25th, 10am - 2pm
Event Host: Nicky - she is the british girl who will be at registration (tall, blonde, gorgeous)
What to bring: A smile and good energy!
